Cirilo George could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jorge Francho made a huge save. Freddy Medero came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Putos Peronistas's Ricardo Oskarbi. But to his dismay, Ricardo Oskarbi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Freddy Medero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Edur in the 9th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Esteban Aresti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putos Peronistas's Jorge Francho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Amador Pierres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Freddy Medero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Aresti in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Francho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Democracia y Golf Pampa booed when Putos Peronistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Oskarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Putos Peronistas's Nemesio Bermudez got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Esteban Aresti came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Democracia y Golf Pampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Aresti couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Emanuel Precioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jorge Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Nalo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Freddy Medero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putos Peronistas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Pierres in the 47th minute of play forced Democracia y Golf Pampa's goalkeeper Freddy Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Aresti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blas Nalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Medero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. In the 64th minute, Esteban Aresti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Francho was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. If Ladislao Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. In the 75th match minute, Putos Peronistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Oskarbi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Cirilo George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Democracia y Golf Pampa's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Francho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 80 minutes, Ladislao Diagur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Democracia y Golf Pampa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Diagur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82ndth minute of the game Cirilo George who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putos Peronistas's Jorge Francho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Putos Peronistas's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Aresti came free, but Jorge Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Democracia y Golf Pampa's Cirilo George in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Putos Peronistas's goalie prevented a goal. Putos Peronistas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
