An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Gervaso in the 11th minute of play forced Lions Xion's goalkeeper 任铮昆 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 任铮昆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Rocendo in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Alfred Charlos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Condado booed when Lions Xion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Charlos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Evaristo Gervaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 任铮昆 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes, Condado's Bonifacio Roldan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 任铮昆 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Condado reached it. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Orozco to strike the kick off in the second half. If Evaristo Gervaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Condado's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Chan came free, but Delmiro Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Dario Karmel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After having played for 60 minutes, Leopoldo Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions Xion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Chan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Juan Orozco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Chico. Condado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Orozco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Candido Gergori's late challenge caught a Lions Xion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Gergori helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lions Xion booed when Condado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Gergori didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Haroldo Pacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Delmiro Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Condado got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Rocendo. Robert Lech struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Delmiro Chico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lions Xion. In the 84th minute, Haroldo Pacho made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Chico. Condado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 任铮昆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Gervaso in the 89th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Lions Xion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Charlos to maneuver through the defense.
