The supporters of Putos Peronistas booed when Lions Xion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Lech didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Putos Peronistas's Blas Nalo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 任铮昆. 任铮昆 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 13 minutes, Blas Nalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putos Peronistas and the Lions Xion players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Blas Nalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lions Xion's 任铮昆 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Lions Xion from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the game, Blas Nalo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 任铮昆. Blas Nalo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to Lions Xion getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Anier Damario hit a great ball. 任铮昆 was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Freddy Basajaun. Juan Orozco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amador Pierress short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got 任铮昆 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 31 minutes, Juan Orozco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions Xion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Orozco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lions Xion's Juan Orozco got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Orozco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Fidel Eufemio from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got 任铮昆's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Nalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Orozco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Putos Peronistas's Blas Nalo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Francho having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Amador Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 任铮昆 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lions Xion fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Freddy Basajaun walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 74 played minutes Lions Xion got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Pacho. 77 minutes into the match, Lions Xion's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Pierres came free, but 任铮昆 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Juan Orozco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions Xion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Orozco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 任铮昆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Nalo in the 86th minute of the match. Anier Damario kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Jorge Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Orozco in the 95th minute of the match. Amador Pierres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 任铮昆 having to make a save.
