In the 18th minute, Justo Valentine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Etxeberri in the 21st minute of play forced Los Silvestres F.C.'s goalkeeper Alon Ceroli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Los Silvestres F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Lauaxeta. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
