Guido Maura came out and tried to block the shot, but Vicente Tiadoro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Anselmo Lehior's late challenge caught a Henderson FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Lehior helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Atlas pasion's Anselmo Lehior got a free kick in the 12th minute. Godfredo Txema's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Guido Maura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 16th minute, Anselmo Lehior ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisito Nalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 19th minute of the match, Godfredo Txema got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guido Maura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guido Maura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Tiadoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Niceto Dodorol charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Dodorol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Atlas pasion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Dodorol to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes of play Atlas pasion's Niceto Dodorol was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Henderson FC booed when Atlas pasion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Dodorol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Maura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Txema went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Vicente Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Atlas pasion's goalkeeper Guido Maura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Txema. Anselmo Lehior might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Nalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Lehior ran back to his position shaking his head. Godfredo Txema hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Txema got free with Guido Maura in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Lehior was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Atlas pasion's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Tiadoro came free, but Guido Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Lehior who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Luisito Nalo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Henderson FC's Godfredo Txema got a free kick in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfredo Txema in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Maura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melchor Gartxot hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Anselmo Lehior scored 2-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Nalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Henderson FC's Eliseo Santxol got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Atlas pasion's Ruperto Bitxintxo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vicente Tiadoro hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Luisito Nalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauan de Castro in the 80th minute. Guido Maura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Txema's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Guido Maura came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Henderson FC's Godfredo Txema. But to his dismay, Godfredo Txema quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Bernardo Bieito made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlas pasion's Norberto Abancens. Anselmo Lehior's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Nalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Guido Maura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Txema's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Luisito Nalo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Anselmo Lehior sent off a good shot on target. Atlas pasion's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
