In the 17th minute, Tiburcio Mambru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres Cba. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 20 minutes of play, Talleres Cba.'s Julio Aznar made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiberto Llope was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of El Ciclón Manda booed when Talleres Cba. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Ciclón Manda's Filiberto Llope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save El Ciclón Manda from getting a goal against them. If Tiburcio Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Talleres Cba. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Ciclón Manda throughout the match.
