The tension between the El Ciclón Manda and the INDEPENDIENTE AVELLANEDA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El Ciclón Manda getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gaudencio Nofre hit a great ball. Filiberto Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Belo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Matias Belo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Filiberto Llope was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, Matias Belo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of El Ciclón Manda's Filiberto Llope. Filiberto Llope was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, El Ciclón Manda's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Belo came free, but Filiberto Llope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Braulio Pelayo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiberto Llope showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, INDEPENDIENTE AVELLANEDA's Matias Belo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Llope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. El Ciclón Manda's Filiberto Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Belo in the 36th minute of play. El Ciclón Manda's Victoriano Romo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half INDEPENDIENTE AVELLANEDA were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute El Ciclón Manda were awarded a corner. Tobias Balesio went to the cornerflag to take it. 53 minutes into the match, El Ciclón Manda's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Belo came free, but Filiberto Llope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lázaro Guifre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Belo in the 57th minute of play forced El Ciclón Manda's goalkeeper Filiberto Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Sebastian Johans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filiberto Llope saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Anacleto Cuartio put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Ciclón Manda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! INDEPENDIENTE AVELLANEDA's attentive Patricio Ovando managed to snatch the ball when Victoriano Romo made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Filiberto Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Belo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Fabio Oro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Filiberto Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Belo in the 98th minute of play. The El Ciclón Manda fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. INDEPENDIENTE AVELLANEDA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
