Niceto Sedeni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonides Poncio struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafet Uyguner got free with Augusto Polo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Txomin hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Fabio Cordearo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fabio Cordearo in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Angel Laurendi's late challenge caught a La Vino Tinto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Laurendi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cristo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Angel Laurendi hit a great ball. La Vino Tinto's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabio Cordearo 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. 87 minutes into the match, Cristo's goal looked a bit too open when Rafet Uyguner came free, but Augusto Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Sedeni was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Angel Laurendi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Angel Laurendi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Cristo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
