Spectators: 7377 (Terracing: 5534, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) Cristo's Fabio Cordearo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Pirovano getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hernan Gilesindo hit a great ball. Augusto Polo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirovano's Tomás Tab. But to his dismay, Tomás Tab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Pirovano's Salvador Bittor got control of the ball when Fabio Cordearo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Bittor having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match, Angel Laurendi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Salvador Bittor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Cristo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Roque Urtungo hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Julio Harri made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Polo. Cristo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Augusto Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Harri in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Rosendo Montez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pirovano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 41 minutes into the match, Cristo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Tab came free, but Augusto Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Tab to strike the kick off in the second half. When Angel Laurendi came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Cristo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Laurendi couldn't finish the play. Salvador Olando hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Angel Laurendi might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Bittor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Laurendi ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabio Cordearo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cristo booed when Pirovano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Froilan Ekhi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirovano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cristo the free kick. Cristo made a substitution. Remigio Ignado replaced Leonides Poncio. Froilan Ekhi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Angel Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Bittor having to interfere. Fabio Cordearo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Bittor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 66 minutes, Roque Urtungo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cristo and the Pirovano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Roque Urtungo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pirovano's Froilan Ekhi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Tab in the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Victoriano Gipuzkoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cristo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirovano the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Victoriano Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes, Pirovano's Froilan Ekhi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augusto Polo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pirovano reached it. 80 minutes into the game, Salvador Olando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augusto Polo. Salvador Olando showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Pirovano's Salvador Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Ignado in the 83rd minute of play. Remigio Ignado struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Salvador Bittor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cristo. Thanks to some nice moves Julio Harri could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Augusto Polo however easily saved by the left post. After 90 played minutes Cristo got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Txomin. Salvador Olando received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Polo came out and tried to block the shot, but Salvador Olando slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 92nd minute. Pirovano played a much better game than Cristo and deserved their victory. The Cristo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
