Augusto Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonides Poncio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Chuse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Cristo's Roque Urtungo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Roque Urtungo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cristo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Roque Urtungo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 43 minutes into the game, one of Cristo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Augusto Polo went to the wrong direction when Rogelio Luken was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabio Cordearo made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Victoriano Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cristo's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Gipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Chuse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Chuse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Cordearo went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
