Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomás Tab started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Pirovano's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Moura came free, but Salvador Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Izotz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Salvador Bittor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentina. Aurelio Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Harri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernabe Mel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Pirovano's Desiderio Mikelar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bernabe Mel but with some difficulty. In the 19th minute of the match Desiderio Mikelar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernabe Mel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Desiderio Mikelar's late challenge caught a Argentina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Mikelar helped the player get up and apologised. Desiderio Mikelar hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Calixto in the 24th minute of play forced Pirovano's goalkeeper Salvador Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirovano's goalkeeper Salvador Bittor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Emerson Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Rosendo Montez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirovano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentina the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pirovano's Rosendo Montez got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Moura in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Bittor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pirovano getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Salvador Olando hit a great ball. Teo Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Salvador Bittor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Argentina's Emerson Moura got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Pirovano's Julio Harri got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Moura made a kick off. Bernabe Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Harri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Izotz in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Bittor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emerson Moura was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Argentina's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aurelio Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teo Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Salvador Olando was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. After 86 played minutes Pirovano got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Olando. Salvador Bittor was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Teo Izotz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teo Izotz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 91 minutes of play, Argentina's Emerson Moura made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvador Bittor was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Emerson Moura came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Argentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emerson Moura couldn't finish the play. If Teo Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Argentina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pirovano.
