Rigoberto Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, VigliA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Simon Madeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Ladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Lleir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Indyk in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Honorato Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ferrocarril Oeste fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Ferrocarril Oeste's Janusz Indyk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ferrocarril Oeste fans cheered their team off the field, for while VigliA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
