With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janusz Indyk in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Naelio saved Calzada from getting behind. A collision led to Calzada getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Guillermo Berdoi hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match Jorge Pereyra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Naelio skillfully saved the ball. Adan Gomez's late challenge caught a Ferrocarril Oeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adan Gomez helped the player get up and apologised. Ferrocarril Oeste's Fidel Edur was substituted for Jorge Pereyra.
