The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Millan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Calzada's zone, Mauricio Naldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Naelio came out of the goal and Mauricio Naldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustacio Orain during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Eustacio Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Peio in the 62nd minute of the match.
