Hernan Ladio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Gilen in the 79th minute of play. Lucas Ceni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janusz Indyk in the 80th minute. In the 86th match minute, Bathurst FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Naldo to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Gabriel Gerber was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Omar Raymon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Ceni. That made the score 4-3 in the 90 minute of play. Ferrocarril Oeste's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bathurst FC had won, even though Ferrocarril Oeste had held more of the ball.
