Spectators: 6615 (Terracing: 5515, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Esperanza FC's Gaudencio Ostadar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerardo Hitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Ixidor in the 3rd minute of the match. Emiliano Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Hitz having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Gaudencio Ostadar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute, Artemio Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Club's Romeo Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Virila in the 16th minute of play. Romeo Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Virila went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gerardo Hitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Emiliano Ixidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Ixidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Hitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Emiliano Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Pereyra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Hitz having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Pereyra in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Hitz saved Esperanza FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Ostadar in the 39th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Romeo Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emiliano Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmiro Pereyra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Hitz came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Emiliano Ixidor. But to his dismay, Emiliano Ixidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Emiliano Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Hitz having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Claudio Mosen had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 61 minutes into the game, Artemio Ponciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esperanza FC the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Artemio Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Ponciano was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 69 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Romeo Abreu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Virila. In the 70th minute, Delmiro Pereyra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Delmiro Pereyra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Pereyra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 played minutes Esperanza FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Montxo. 76 minutes into the game, Esperanza FC's Alberto Virila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Gerardo Hitz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Racing Club's Delmiro Pereyra shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Ramon Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Emiliano Ixidor shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Esperanza FC's Gerardo Hitz to catch but Emiliano Ixidor was lucky. It became 3-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Victorio Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Ernesto Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Esperanza FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Racing Club from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
