In the 5th minute, Vinicio Otsoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Esperanza FC's Claudio Mosen got a free kick in the 8th minute. Gerardo Hitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Virila in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Niceto Urtungo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 22nd minute, Esperanza FC's Ramon Abilio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ramon Abilio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Esperanza FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ramon Abilio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Esperanza FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sangrion FC:s goal. The referee gave Sangrion FC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enzo Pio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Esperanza FC's Gerardo Hitz. 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Ernesto Kaxen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esperanza FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sangrion FC the free kick. The supporters of Sangrion FC booed when Esperanza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Kaxen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Enzo Pio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sangrion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Pio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Hitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Alberto Virila dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niceto Urtungo, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Virila got free with Niceto Urtungo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Sangrion FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Virila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner ended in Sebastian Min almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sangrion FC's Niceto Urtungo did a great save. The supporters of Esperanza FC booed when Sangrion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Niva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Teodor's late challenge caught a Esperanza FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Teodor helped the player get up and apologised. Alberto Virila took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Urtungo. Niceto Urtungo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 67th minute, Igor Niva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Esperanza FC's Ernesto Kaxen got a free kick in the 68th minute. Enzo Pio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Hitz having to make a save. Gerardo Hitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Napier's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The Sangrion FC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Sangrion FC's Enzo Pio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute, Vinicio Otsoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enzo Pio hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Niceto Urtungo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Kaxen in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Sangrion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Virila came free, but Niceto Urtungo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Cesar Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esperanza FC's Claudio Mosen got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 3-4 became the score in the 99th minute when Cesar Napier elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sangrion FC played a much better game than Esperanza FC and deserved their victory. The Esperanza FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
