In the 5th minute, Sergio Abarca made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Lando. Papin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ismael Lando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Abarca in the 9th minute of the match. Manuel Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Silvestre Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Cidro had several of the Naranja AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Silvestre Chus as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 18 played minutes Naranja AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Ekialde. Manuel Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Naranja AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Benedicto Locaio hit a great ball. Silvestre Chus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Hartz in the 27th minute. After 34 played minutes Naranja AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Micael. In the 35th minute, Florencio Porfiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Naranja AFC's Silvestre Chus didn't even have to move. Hugo Cidro struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Silvestre Chus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papin. In the 42ndth minute of the game Hugo Cidro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naranja AFC's Silvestre Chus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Abarca to make the kick off. If Ovidio Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Cidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Chus having to interfere. When Manuel Hartz came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Papin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Hartz couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Cordarrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ismael Lando made a huge save. Hugo Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Pastor Umbruso fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papin's protests and gave Pastor Umbruso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Naranja AFC booed when Papin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Sergio Abarca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papin's Ismael Lando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Cordarrell got free with Ismael Lando in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Cidro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Papin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
