Julian Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kjell-Arne Falkrans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Falkrans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Eutor went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Los Funebreros's Kjell-Arne Falkrans threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Quentin Hyde, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute, Primitivo Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Funebreros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Kjell-Arne Falkrans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Dimo in the 18th minute of the match. A hard shot 20 in the game by Quentin Hyde from a close distance when the talented Kjell-Arne Falkrans managed to make a qualified save. Cuervo's players were relieved. After having played for 22 minutes, Fidel Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Lauaxeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Licerio took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjell-Arne Falkrans. Kjell-Arne Falkrans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 30 played minutes Cuervo got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Vincente. Kjell-Arne Falkrans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Licerio in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quentin Hyde in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell-Arne Falkrans saved Cuervo from getting behind. Los Funebreros's Julian Licerio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quentin Hyde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julian Licerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Julian Licerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Funebreros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Licerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quentin Hyde was the one to do the kick off. Kjell-Arne Falkrans came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Los Funebreros's Quentin Hyde. But to his dismay, Quentin Hyde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Julian Licerio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Benjamin Umbruso hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervo's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Falkrans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Primitivo Alvarez fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Funebreros's protests and gave Primitivo Alvarez a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Los Funebreros got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Alvarez. If Julian Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Los Funebreros fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Los Funebreros's Quentin Hyde looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The attack was good, but when Quentin Hyde in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 81st minute, Quentin Hyde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Falkrans having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Primitivo Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Funebreros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Lauaxeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Cuervo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Funebreros:s goal. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Los Funebreros. Everardo Eutor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kjell-Arne Falkrans. 8-0. Los Funebreros walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
