The supporters of Papin booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Cidro in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Bruno Oihan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. In the 18th minute, Bruno Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Modesto Virila fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papin's protests and gave Modesto Virila a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Papin got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Virila. Delmiro Pereyra scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Lando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roberto Nuxila took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ismael Lando. Papin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Papin's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Ixidor came free, but Ismael Lando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Ixidor in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Lando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Delmiro Pereyra came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Pereyra couldn't finish the play. Delmiro Pereyra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Lando having to make a save. In the 38th minute Hugo Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Cidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Pereyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Delmiro Pereyra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Cidro was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Victorio Luke from a close distance when the talented Ismael Lando managed to make a qualified save. Papin's players were relieved. Romeo Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Oihan went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Ixidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Papin's Ismael Lando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Papin from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Oihan came free, but Romeo Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Pereyra got free with Ismael Lando in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
