Celta Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Firmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Leguizamón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Bilbo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Sein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Constantino Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Horacio Bilbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Leopoldo Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hilario Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Ramos in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Leguizamón saved Boedo EP from getting behind. Elvio Sein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Afonso in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Celta Fc got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Sidro. Gogo Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Celta Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Lopez to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boedo EP's goalkeeper Constantino Leguizamón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Constantino Leguizamón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Victoro went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gregorio Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Celta Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boedo EP the free kick. Elvio Sein was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wilfredo Gustau. In the 92nd minute, Gaston Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celta Fc's Leopoldo Hug couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Boedo EP. Celta Fc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
