With a little luck, Lebron FC's Martin Rito got control of the ball when Leopoldo Hug tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Lebron FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Ramos came free, but Martin Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 23rd minute of the match Antonio Berto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Antonio Berto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 24 played minutes Lebron FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Berto. 29 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Ur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lebron FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Celta Fc the free kick. In the 29th minute, Rigoberto Ur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes Leopoldo Hug shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Lebron FC's Martin Rito to catch but Leopoldo Hug was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Dante Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Martin Rito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Feliberto Sidro put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Lebron FC booed when Celta Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Sein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Ur, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Celta Fc got a freekick which was hit by Felix Presebal.

After having played for 53 minutes, Gregorio Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
