Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cangallo AFC's Bernardino Unai started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Jonatan Otoniel came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Uturango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Otoniel couldn't finish the play. Luisito Esquipula's late challenge caught a Uturango's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisito Esquipula helped the player get up and apologised. Hernan Gabino came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Uturango's Jonatan Otoniel. But to his dismay, Jonatan Otoniel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Domingo Nardo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Cangallo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Nardo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cangallo AFC's Luisito Esquipula got a free kick in the 17th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Uturango's Isaac Prejun tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Cangallo AFC's Domingo Nardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lorenzo Luzea. Lorenzo Luzea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Otoniel in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Gabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Benicio Tavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Millano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Uturango's Benicio Tavio got a free kick in the 34th minute. Hernan Gabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Domingo Nardo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Lorenzo Luzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cangallo AFC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jonatan Otoniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Gabino having to interfere. Cangallo AFC's Domingo Nardo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ubaldo Ferman during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Ubaldo Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jonatan Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Jonatan Otoniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Garaile in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Gabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingo Nardo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Luzea. Lorenzo Luzea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Luisito Esquipula struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Lorenzo Luzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cangallo AFC. When Guillermo Bermund came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Uturango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Bermund couldn't finish the play. Uturango's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
