Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boedo EP's Gonzalo Venerando started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Baldomero Hernando tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernan Birila saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 4th minute, Andres Afonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Birila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gaston Emeterio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Gonzalo Venerando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Birila having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Horacio Bilbo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Birila. Milo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horacio Bilbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Hernan Birila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andres Afonso went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Milo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Gonzalo Venerando scored to the left of an out of position Hernan Birila, making the score, 4-1. Iker Regis struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Constantino Leguizamón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milo FC. Constantino Leguizamón stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Balasi's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Eddie Irvine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Constantino Leguizamón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Boedo EP's Gonzalo Venerando got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Balasi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Milo FC were awarded a corner. Eddie Irvine went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Milo FC's Whitney Richards to fire away a dangerous shot which Constantino Leguizamón despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 56th minute, Gonzalo Venerando made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Birila. Milo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Candido Balasi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Virgilio Rosalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Constantino Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Virgilio Rosalio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boedo EP the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Milo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Rosalio to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Candido Balasi notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Boedo EP's Constantino Leguizamón. Constantino Leguizamón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Milo FC's Hernan Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Afonso in the 73rd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Boedo EP's Andres Afonso made it 7-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Birila was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the match, Milo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Afonso came free, but Hernan Birila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Birila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Venerando, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Baldomero Hernando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Birila. Milo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Hernando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-3. Boedo EP were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Milo FC for a fine match.
