Spectators: 6300 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Esteban Colon kicked off to start the match. Samuel Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Carioca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Feo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Alessandro Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Colon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Rene Quintyn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saavedra and the Yofré AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 19 minutes into the game, Carlos Azeari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yofré AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saavedra the free kick. After 20 played minutes Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Lain. After 21 minutes of play, Yofré AFC's Carlos Azeari made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Nuxila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Nuxila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Azeari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Saavedra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Lando to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Carlos Azeari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Samuel Nuxila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Nuxila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Azeari in the 34th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Feo. Yofré AFC's Alessandro Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Feo in the 41st minute of play. Samuel Nuxila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Azeari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carlos Azeari came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Yofré AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Azeari couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Azeari in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Nuxila saved Saavedra from getting behind. Samuel Nuxila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Azeari went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Carlos Azeari sped through Saavedra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Nuxila. After having played for 63 minutes, Carlos Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yofré AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Azeari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Nuxila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Azeari came free, but Samuel Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Rios during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Yofré AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Rios to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Feo got free with Alessandro Carioca in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alessandro Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Lando in the 73rd minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, Yofré AFC's Carlos Azeari made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Nuxila was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute Carlos Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Nuxila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Eulalio Urdin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Nuxila skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Azeari in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Nuxila saved Saavedra from getting behind. If Gilberto Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Yofré AFC fully deserved thier win.
