During the 17th minute of the match Leandro Lando completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leandro Lando a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Saavedra getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leandro Lando hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, Aicuña AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Elorri to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Nuxila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Millrick's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Cecilio Eriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Rene Quintyn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saavedra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aicuña AFC the free kick. Rene Quintyn kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Prudencio Millrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saavedra's Samuel Nuxila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Saavedra from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Aicuña AFC's Prudencio Millrick ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Nuxila. Samuel Nuxila yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Eloy Feo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amado Liher. Amado Liher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prudencio Millrick to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Prudencio Millrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prudencio Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Nuxila having to interfere. Amado Liher made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Eloy Feo sent off a good shot on target. If Ladislao Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Gaspard during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eloy Feo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Aicuña AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Faustino Erramu hit a great ball. Fidel Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Eloy Feos short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Amado Liher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Monte came free, but Samuel Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Prudencio Millrick came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Aicuña AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Millrick couldn't finish the play. Amado Liher was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Eloy Feo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eloy Feo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Prudencio Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Monte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Esteban Colon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aicuña AFC's Ladislao Monte in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saavedra's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Aicuña AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
