Jonathan Teyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eddy Gâteau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Marek Griggs did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Eddy Gâteau 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Luciano Millan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Caiga Quien Caiga F.C booed when The Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Ponc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsenio Silbestre hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Filiberto Ponc struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Eddy Gâteau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Red Devils. 29 minutes into the match, The Red Devils's Marek Griggs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddy Gâteau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marek Griggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Gâteau having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Marek Griggs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eddy Gâteau. Marek Griggs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Marek Griggss short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Eddy Gâteau to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 37 minutes into the match, Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Griggs came free, but Eddy Gâteau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Griggs had several of the Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Eddy Gâteau as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 42 in the game by Marek Griggs from a close distance when the talented Eddy Gâteau managed to make a qualified save. Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's players were relieved. Leo Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Hartz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Caiga Quien Caiga F.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arsenio Ler hit a great ball. Eddy Gâteau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Lopes in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romulo Hartz to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Arsenio Rodas threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Red Devils's Filiberto Ponc quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 55th minute, Filiberto Ponc made a precise shot to the right of Eddy Gâteau. Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Marek Griggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Gâteau having to interfere. The Red Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Marek Griggs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddy Gâteau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's Romulo Hartz got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that Marek Griggs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddy Gâteau was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Eddy Gâteau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eleuterio Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Nicasio Santxol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Papo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Caiga Quien Caiga F.C defense, Nestor Constancio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eddy Gâteau. The Caiga Quien Caiga F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddy Gâteau should have stopped the shot. In the 90th match minute, The Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Papo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marek Griggs in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddy Gâteau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute Romulo Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Red Devils walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
