Spectators: 7339 (Terracing: 5506, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 145) 3 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Sánchez's Ciriaco Macario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Palban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Saul Estebano scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Palban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Pastor Llorian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Ciriaco Macario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Palban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Benino in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute Domingos Benino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Ciriaco Macario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Sánchez and the High Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of High Team booed when Club Deportivo Sánchez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Macario didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, High Team's Modesto Loi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Abeijon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Sánchez's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Benino came free, but Ciriaco Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Modesto Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timoteo Fix during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rigoberto Poz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 47th minute of the match, Modesto Loi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ciriaco Abeijon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Ekain to make the kick off. Ciriaco Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Benino, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Loi in the 54th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Sánchez's goalkeeper Ciriaco Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Abeijon came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by High Team's Domingos Benino. But to his dismay, Domingos Benino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Achille Laurø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Abeijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, High Team's Modesto Loi made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saul Estebano charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Estebano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Saul Estebano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. High Team's Modesto Loi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Sánchez's Ciriaco Macario got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ciriaco Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Loi in the 75th minute of play. Ciriaco Abeijon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Benino went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Ciriaco Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Benino in the 82nd minute of play. Ciriaco Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in High Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! High Team:s Uriel Palban showed great skill when he stopped Rigoberto Poz:s penalty. 4-4 came in the 90th minute when Rigoberto Poz all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Uriel Palban. 92 minutes into the match, High Team's goalkeeper Uriel Palban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Txartiko. Modesto Loi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the High Team players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
