After having played for 6 minutes, Anacleto Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Deportivo Sánchez's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anacleto Lopes was slow to take the kick. During this time The Red Devils's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on The Red Devils's corner Anacleto Lopes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciriaco Abeijon quite easily take care of the ball. Marek Griggs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciriaco Abeijon having to make a save. Marek Griggs made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 12thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ciriaco Abeijon would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Silbestre got free with Ciriaco Abeijon in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Marek Griggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Griggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Abeijon having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marek Griggs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Abeijon was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, Marek Griggs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciriaco Abeijon. Marek Griggs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 38th match minute, The Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. Marek Griggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Abeijon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Eleuterio Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Red Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Papo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Sánchez's goalkeeper Ciriaco Abeijon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Griggs. The Red Devils's Jonathan Teyo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ciriaco Abeijon but with some difficulty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Griggs to make the kick off. Ciriaco Abeijon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Griggs's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Ciriaco Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Griggs in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes, The Red Devils's Eleuterio Papo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciriaco Abeijon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Red Devils reached it. 60 minutes into the game, Marek Griggs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ciriaco Abeijon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nestor Constancio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Marek Griggs came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the The Red Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Griggs couldn't finish the play. If Marek Griggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 70 minutes of play, The Red Devils's Marek Griggs made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marek Griggs struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ciriaco Abeijon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Red Devils. Anacleto Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, The Red Devils's Marek Griggs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Abeijon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the The Red Devils players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
