Spectators: 7385 (Terracing: 5576, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 100) High Team's Modesto Loi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enzo Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Benino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Diki Schoenmakers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Independiente booed when High Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Benino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Zacarias Juvenal in the 9th minute really tested Uriel Palban's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Enzo Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Benino came free, but Enzo Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Llorian came free, but Enzo Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Independiente's Francisco Peli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Uriel Palban. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diki Schoenmakers got free with Uriel Palban in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, High Team's Erasmo Honesto got a free kick in the 26th minute. Enzo Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Llorian in the 30th minute of play. Uriel Palban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Mendiko in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Llorian in the 38th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Enzo Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Diki Schoenmakers got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 46 minutes into the match, High Team's goalkeeper Uriel Palban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diki Schoenmakers. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Francisco Peli made the kick off in the second half. Uriel Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Mendiko in the 52nd minute of play. Timoteo Fix was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. Timoteo Fix hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes, Independiente's Zacarias Juvenal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uriel Palban came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independiente reached it. Pastor Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Marin having to interfere. Modesto Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Enzo Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Palban came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Diki Schoenmakers. But to his dismay, Diki Schoenmakers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Modesto Loi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Independiente's attentive Filiberto Mendiko managed to snatch the ball when Lucio Gorosti made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. Filiberto Mendiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Palban having to interfere. High Team's Uriel Palban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Abella in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Francisco Peli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Palban was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Uriel Palban came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Diki Schoenmakers. But to his dismay, Diki Schoenmakers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Diki Schoenmakers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Eleuterio Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Palban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, High Team's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Mendiko came free, but Uriel Palban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Independiente were the better team. Independiente's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
