The coaching staff of killer Queen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wilfredo Errando had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute, one of killer Queen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for killer Queen. In the 13th minute, Capdevila got a penalty, and Ariel Sengrat placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Placido Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Quintyn having to interfere. After 18 played minutes killer Queen got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Urdaspal. In the 19th minute of the match Ariel Sengrat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Maria skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Capdevila getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rafael Timo hit a great ball. When killer Queen's Gaspar Felo in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Jaume to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Capdevila's zone, Guaberto Bakar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Quintyn came out of the goal and Guaberto Bakar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Jaume in the 55th minute of play. Aquilino Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Bakar, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Capdevila's zone, Leonel Frederik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Quintyn came out of the goal and Leonel Frederik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Guaberto Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Jaume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
