With a little luck, Parque Avellaneda's Alfredo Poncio got control of the ball when Osvaldo Johans tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 4 minutes of play, Parque Avellaneda's Mădălin Datcu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Eguerdi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Uriel Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Mădălin Datcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Eguerdi was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Armando Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parque Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Celio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Eguerdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Honorato Ortzi fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atl. San Cristóbal's protests and gave Honorato Ortzi a yellow card for diving instead. Uriel Lia scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeo Eguerdi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 played minutes Parque Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Rico. Osvaldo Johans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alfredo Poncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Lia took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeo Eguerdi. Tadeo Eguerdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Uriel Lia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Mădălin Datcu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Eguerdi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 40 minutes into the match, Benito Steven dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredo Poncio, 1-5. Uriel Lia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Eguerdi having to make a save. The Atl. San Cristóbal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Parque Avellaneda were winning 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mădălin Datcu to make the kick off. Daniel Eskuin's late challenge caught a Parque Avellaneda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Eskuin helped the player get up and apologised. After 50 played minutes Atl. San Cristóbal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Eskuin. After a rather tough play, Atl. San Cristóbal's Daniel Eskuin got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Tadeo Eguerdi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mădălin Datcu went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Johans in the 59th minute of play forced Parque Avellaneda's goalkeeper Alfredo Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mădălin Datcu might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Eguerdi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mădălin Datcu ran back to his position shaking his head. Parque Avellaneda's Mădălin Datcu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tadeo Eguerdi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alfredo Poncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Cordarrell in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Parque Avellaneda were awarded a corner. Armando Celio went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Parque Avellaneda's corner Armando Celio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tadeo Eguerdi quite easily take care of the ball. Uriel Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Parque Avellaneda's Mădălin Datcu got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atl. San Cristóbal's goalkeeper Tadeo Eguerdi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mădălin Datcu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Tadeo Eguerdi made a huge save. Atl. San Cristóbal's Tadeo Eguerdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Atl. San Cristóbal from getting a goal against them. Mădălin Datcu kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Atl. San Cristóbal's keeper Tadeo Eguerdi was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 94 minutes into the match, Parque Avellaneda's Mădălin Datcu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeo Eguerdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Parque Avellaneda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
