Hüseyin Rahmi Malik might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Eguerdi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hüseyin Rahmi Malik ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnulfo Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tadeo Eguerdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Malik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Robustiano Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dot F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Pasqual was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Malik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

San Cristóbal's Tadeo Eguerdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Atl. San Cristóbal from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Atl. San Cristóbal defense, Dimitris Peris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeo Eguerdi. The Atl. San Cristóbal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeo Eguerdi should have stopped the shot. Dot F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
