Victorino Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Carolo Fliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sixto Abaurre hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Aldo Burni got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Moreno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sixto Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Arsenal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Abaurre couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Pes in the 37th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Iyan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Braulio Pes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Astudillo came out of the goal and Braulio Pes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victoriano Tadzio in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermengildo Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Sixto Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Flizs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Bernabe Kinsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Agustin Chucho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Bernabe Kinsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 68 minutes, Guido Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moreno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Argina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Agustin Chucho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moreno's Bernabe Kinsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorino Lalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernabe Kinsen. That made the score 0-1 in the 75 minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Chucho came free, but Bernabe Kinsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Etxatxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Astudillo having to make a save. Hermengildo Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moreno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal FC the free kick. Hermengildo Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Pes in the 92nd minute of play. Braulio Pes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Astudillo having to make a save. Agustin Chucho succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Arsenal FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
