Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Benito Steven started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 9 minutes, Angelo Gelmiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpintería and the Atl. San Cristóbal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luisito Bladi might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Eguerdi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisito Bladi ran back to his position shaking his head. Luisito Bladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tadeo Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Eguerdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Atl. San Cristóbal's goalkeeper Tadeo Eguerdi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Bladi. Luisito Bladi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Eguerdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Daniel Eskuin fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atl. San Cristóbal's protests and gave Daniel Eskuin a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Atl. San Cristóbal's zone, Leandro Micael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Eguerdi came out of the goal and Leandro Micael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Johans in the 29th minute of play. Leandro Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tadeo Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Luisito Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpintería's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Bladi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tadeo Eguerdi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Micael's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Luisito Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Angelo Gelmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Johans got free with Paulino Oihenarte in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Atl. San Cristóbal's zone, Luisito Bladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Eguerdi came out of the goal and Luisito Bladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute Benito Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Steven in the 76th minute of the match. Osvaldo Johans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leandro Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Atl. San Cristóbal getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Daniel Eskuin hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Carpintería's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Steven came free, but Paulino Oihenarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Oihenarte having to interfere. Paulino Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that Carpintería were the better team. Carpintería's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
