The crowd rose to their feet as Eam's Pablo Austin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angel Avellaneda. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. With his leg Angel Avellaneda managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Eam's Pablo Austin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Modesto Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PotoONet CAP's Angel Avellaneda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save PotoONet CAP from getting a goal against them. Eam's Moises Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Firmo in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, PotoONet CAP's Angel Avellaneda got control of the ball when Pablo Austin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 2-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Igor Itzaina elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Angel Avellaneda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Modesto Rosio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Pablo Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eam's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Austin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Avellaneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pablo Austin came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Eam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Austin couldn't finish the play. Angel Avellaneda made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Nicolas Inko sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
52 minutes into the game, one of PotoONet CAP:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Angel Avellaneda went to the wrong direction when Pablo Austin was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to PotoONet CAP getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Conrado Firmo hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Igor Itzaina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angel Avellaneda was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Igor Itzaina sped through PotoONet CAP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angel Avellaneda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Austin in the 69th minute of play forced PotoONet CAP's goalkeeper Angel Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eam's Pablo Austin got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Pablo Austin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Avellaneda was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Igor Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes PotoONet CAP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pablo Austin who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Igor Itzaina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Pablo Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Avellaneda having to interfere.
