The lAnguila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Niguel should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mapis AFC's Ciro Ciceron got a free kick in the 24th minute. Gabriel Asur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the lAnguila defense, Amador Primeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Niguel. The lAnguila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Niguel should have stopped the shot. Arnulfo Ferrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Maria in the 35th minute of the match. Edgard Maria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Silverio Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Edgard Maria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. In the 44th match minute, Mapis AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Lawrence to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Niguel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Primeiro's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Primeiro was the one to do the kick off. lAnguila's Pablo Niguel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save lAnguila from getting a goal against them. After having played for 57 minutes, Gabriel Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. lAnguila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Edgard Maria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mapis AFC's Silverio Osoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnulfo Ferrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Amador Primeiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Pablo Niguel to make any attempt to save it. If Amador Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes of play, Mapis AFC's Arnulfo Ferrando made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Niguel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pablo Niguel stood somewhat misplaced when Arnulfo Ferrando came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 82 minute. lAnguila's Edgard Maria got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. lAnguila's Pablo Niguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Primeiro in the 88th minute of play. Gabriel Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnulfo Ferrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pablo Niguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
