Arnulfo Ferrando made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 17thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fabian Bergman would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. OnceRatas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Bergman came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mapis AFC's Amador Primeiro. But to his dismay, Amador Primeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. OnceRatas's Fabian Bergman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save OnceRatas from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Roberto-Carlos Da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Mapis AFC's Amador Primeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabian Bergman. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Tonete in the 44th minute of play forced Mapis AFC's goalkeeper Silverio Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, one of OnceRatas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for OnceRatas. The referee gave Mapis AFC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Umea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of OnceRatas's Fabian Bergman. 4-0.

The wind increased when Amador Primeiro made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Arnulfo Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fabian Bergman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Amador Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fabian Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Arnulfo Ferrando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapis AFC and the OnceRatas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mapis AFC's Arnulfo Ferrando got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in OnceRatas's zone, Arnulfo Ferrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Bergman came out of the goal and Arnulfo Ferrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnulfo Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Bergman having to interfere. Ciro Ciceron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Bergman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Amador Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Bergman having to interfere. Fabian Bergman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Primeiro's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind OnceRatas's goalkeeper Fabian Bergman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Alejo Salbatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amador Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Bergman having to interfere. There was no doubt that Mapis AFC were the better team. Mapis AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
