Basail F.C.'s Jeronimo Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Gitano in the 32nd minute of play. Jeronimo Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bocaye's Anacleto Quintyn managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by German Galeno in the 37 minute of the game. When Godfredo Tuste fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Basail F.C.'s protests and gave Godfredo Tuste a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Basail F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Tuste to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bocaye's Gustavo Ascencio got control of the ball when Donato Rencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Basail F.C.'s Thomas Shelby got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Shelby to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Donato Rencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Ascencio. Bocaye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Rencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 60th minute Paulo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Vela made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Paulo Gitano sent off a good shot on target. Basail F.C.'s Jeronimo Vela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Basail F.C. from getting a goal against them. Donato Rencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeronimo Vela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Quintyn in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Bocaye's Orlando Benvido got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 83 played minutes Bocaye got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Elizardo. Bocaye's Anacleto Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeronimo Vela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Gitano in the 93rd minute of play. If Donato Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
