In the 13th minute German Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Cilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Hunfredo in the 24th minute of play forced AmericanAirlines FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Birjaio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the AmericanAirlines FC defense, Salvador Hunfredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Cilio. The AmericanAirlines FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Cilio should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, German Hitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. A collision led to AmericanAirlines FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tomás Herrera hit a great ball. German Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
