Raul Mendez helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Springfield F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Raul Mendez. After 16 played minutes, Bocaye's Celedonio Fix shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bocaye reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Paulo Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bocaye's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Gitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Millano in the 19th minute of play forced Bocaye's goalkeeper Gustavo Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Gaspar Millano took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gustavo Ascencio to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd minute Raul Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Gitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Chu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Raymond got free with Gustavo Ascencio in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chu having to interfere. The supporters of Springfield F.C. booed when Bocaye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Raymond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gustavo Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anacleto Quintyn fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bocaye's protests and gave Anacleto Quintyn a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bocaye's Anacleto Quintyn got a free kick in the 39th minute. Rigoberto Rosalio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Gitano made a kick off. Raul Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Chu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Salvador Carlomagno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Millano in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Ascencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes, Gaspar Millano made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bocaye's Gustavo Ascencio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bocaye's Anacleto Quintyn pulled a muscle in his leg after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 86 played minutes Springfield F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Dominic. In the 89th minute of the match Bocaye got a corner. Springfield F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celedonio Fix ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Celedonio Fix got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Springfield F.C.'s Chu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Springfield F.C. from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Rosalio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bocaye's Gaston Ranolfo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Springfield F.C. had won after a very even match.
