Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maximo Lico started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Dresden FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Simão. Gualterio Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Maxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Baumer in the 11th minute of the match. Arnulfo Nuñez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Lico went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Dresden FC defense, Miguel Bento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Maxin. The Dresden FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Maxin should have stopped the shot. In the 39th match minute, Dresden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Hodei to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Bento charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Bento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miguel Bento hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Ciriaco Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciriaco Baumer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ildefonso Pirmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holmberg FC's Arnulfo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Hodei in the 58th minute of play. When Miguel Bento came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Holmberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Bento couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Felipe Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Baumer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Holmberg FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Hodei in the 78th minute of play forced Holmberg FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Maximo Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Maxin having to interfere. In the 94th minute Ciriaco Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dresden FC's zone, Miguel Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Maxin came out of the goal and Miguel Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
