Erasmo Jaunti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Vela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Donato Rencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Silvino having to interfere. Jonas Silvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Shelby, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Donato Rencio made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Silvino. Diablos F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Basail F.C.'s zone, Erasmo Jaunti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Vela came out of the goal and Erasmo Jaunti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Basail F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Ihazintu came free, but Jeronimo Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cipriano Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basail F.C.'s Jeronimo Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Arnau in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Erasmo Jaunti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jeronimo Vela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diablos F.C's Jonas Silvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Diablos F.C from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Enrique Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Donato Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the game, one of Diablos F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erasmo Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jeronimo Vela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donato Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Benjamin Ihazintu fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diablos F.C's protests and gave Benjamin Ihazintu a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Diablos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Ihazintu. In the 68th minute, Enrique Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basail F.C.'s Jeronimo Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Arnau in the 75th minute of play. Jeronimo Vela made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Erasmo Jaunti sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Ihazintu got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 78th match minute, Diablos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Ihazintu to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Vela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Jaunti in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, Enrique Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Vela having to interfere. Erasmo Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
