When Maximo Lico came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Dresden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Lico couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Lico made a kick off. Maximo Lico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anor londo's Amado Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Hodei in the 57th minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Maximo Lico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anor londo's Amado Ascencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. German Hitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anor londo's German Hitz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Anor londo's Haroldo Urki got a free kick in the 95th minute. The supporters of Dresden FC booed when Anor londo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Simão was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dresden FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
