Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Diablos F.C's Cipriano Arnau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teofilo Galo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Vela made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Erasmo Jaunti sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Arnau in the 7th minute of play forced Basail F.C.'s goalkeeper Jeronimo Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Cipriano Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Rodolfo Jerrold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Erasmo Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Diablos F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Jaunti couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Arnau kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Dionisio Maju managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Basail F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Maju was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Rencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jonas Silvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Rencio in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Silvino saved Diablos F.C from getting behind. Simon Bernal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeronimo Vela came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Bernal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Basail F.C.'s Jeronimo Vela got control of the ball when Erasmo Jaunti tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Arnau in the 29th minute of play forced Basail F.C.'s goalkeeper Jeronimo Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Jaunti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jeronimo Vela made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Basail F.C.'s goalkeeper Jeronimo Vela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Bernal. Jeronimo Vela was a little too slow when Cipriano Arnau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. Thomas Shelby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Silvino having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Shelby was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Erasmo Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Vela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Ihazintu went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Erasmo Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Basail F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Mero. After some careless play in the Basail F.C. defense, Erasmo Jaunti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Vela. The Basail F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Vela should have stopped the shot. After 64 played minutes Diablos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Kemen. Basail F.C.'s Jeronimo Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Jaunti in the 67th minute of play. Jeronimo Vela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Arnau in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Donato Rencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basail F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Rencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Silvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Silvino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Rencio in the 75th minute. Jeronimo Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Jaunti in the 78th minute of the match. Donato Rencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Basail F.C.'s Donato Rencio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonas Silvino. Jonas Silvino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. After a rather tough play, Diablos F.C's Enrique Cucao got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes in the game Donato Rencio got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Thomas Shelby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Silvino having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Rencio got free with Jonas Silvino in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basail F.C.'s Jeronimo Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Bernal in the 96th minute of play. Diablos F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Basail F.C. for a fine match.
