Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Candido Oroitz kicked off to start the match. Armando Vigil shot from long distance in the 4th minute, but Amado Gerazan was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The audience was convinced that Claudio Abar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Gerazan was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 36th minute Delmar Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Timo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Oroitz in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Cipolleti getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Abar made a kick off.
