When Pascual Haimar fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atucha's protests and gave Pascual Haimar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Atucha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Haimar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentim Saraiva in the 6th minute of play forced Atucha's goalkeeper Iker Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Lertxun came free, but Domingos Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Chatruc Landaburu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Celso Rio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentim Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Atucha getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Haroldo Amato hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Froilan Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Rosario Central defense, Hipolito Gentza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Luzea. The Rosario Central fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Luzea should have stopped the shot. After 25 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Valentim Saraiva. In the 28th minute Haroldo Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Luzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Rio in the 30th minute of play. Domingos Luzea came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atucha's Haroldo Amato. But to his dismay, Haroldo Amato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Domingos Luzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Lertxun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingos Luzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Gentza in the 38th minute of play. Hernán Diaz lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Paulino Mattin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Iker Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chatruc Landaburu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Xabel having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Lertxun in the 52nd minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Domingos Luzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Honorio Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Checa in the 56th minute of play forced Atucha's goalkeeper Iker Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Atucha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Amato didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's Marciano Urbes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Xabel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iker Xabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Urbes went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatruc Landaburu in the 69th minute of play forced Atucha's goalkeeper Iker Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Amato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marciano Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Iker Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paulino Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Honorio Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Luzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Lertxun, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Celso Rio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingos Luzea. Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Rio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Haroldo Amato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Domingos Luzea made a huge save. Domingos Luzea made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Celso Rio sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Marciano Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Urbes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Xabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustino Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Atilano Steven took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iker Xabel. Atucha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Rosario Central supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atucha's performance. The match ended with a win for Atucha.
