Alberto Ubelteso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Montrell in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Cipriano Manuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Ubelteso. Porvenir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Manuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Alberto Ubelteso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Montrell in the 15th minute of play. Porvenir were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after El Cielo por Asalto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saul Serapio took the corner. Damian Geofredo made a great header on Porvenir's corner, it was just that El Cielo por Asalto's Clemente Weather managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 25th minute, Saul Serapio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clemente Weather. The goal made the score 1-2. When Teobaldo Sandalio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the El Cielo por Asalto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Sandalio couldn't finish the play. Alberto Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Cipriano Manuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Ubelteso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Nemesio Guerrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porvenir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Cielo por Asalto the free kick. After 39 played minutes Porvenir got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Guerrero. Teobaldo Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Porvenir defense, Lisandro Panpili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Ubelteso. The Porvenir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Ubelteso should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Sol to make the kick off. If Cipriano Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Ubelteso was a little too slow when Cipriano Manuelo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-5. In the 58th match minute, Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Manuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Porvenir's Alberto Ubelteso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Porvenir from getting a goal against them. Alberto Ubelteso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Manuelo in the 66th minute of the match. Gregorio Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Alberto Ubelteso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Timoteo Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Cielo por Asalto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Matteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Guerrero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Weather was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Lino Montrell scored 1-6 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Ubelteso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timoteo Matteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alberto Ubelteso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porvenir's Alberto Ubelteso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Matteo in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Lino Montrell took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Alberto Ubelteso to make any attempt to save it. Alberto Ubelteso made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Astor Tauro sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Montrell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberto Ubelteso. That made the score 1-9 in the 91 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cipriano Manuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Cielo por Asalto's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Manuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Ubelteso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Porvenir fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Cielo por Asalto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
