An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Lertxun in the 18th minute of play forced Mulcahy's goalkeeper Bernabe Confesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Gentza's late challenge caught a Mulcahy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Gentza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mulcahy booed when Atucha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Gentza didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Atucha's Iker Xabel got control of the ball when Raimundo Claude tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mulcahy's Bernabe Confesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Lertxun in the 27th minute of play. Bernabe Confesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Lertxun in the 37th minute of the match. Haroldo Amato charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Amato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celso Rio charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Rio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Atucha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Rio to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Claude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Xabel having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Lertxun was the one to do the kick off. Hipolito Gentza was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After recieving a nice pass, Mulcahy's Rodolfo Raitin tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mulcahy's zone, Haroldo Amato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Confesor came out of the goal and Haroldo Amato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atucha's Iker Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Claude in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Haroldo Amato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Mulcahy a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodolfo Raitin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atucha's Iker Xabel. 2-1. Raimundo Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 88th minute of the match Celso Rio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Celso Rio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Celso Rio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Inocencio Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Iker Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inocencio Lamberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
