Dante Tello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Kalkanov having to interfere. Braulio Bide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Guipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Gaston Oxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patagonia. Feliciano Astudillo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Viktor Kalkanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patagonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juguemos Sin Saber FC the free kick. The Juguemos Sin Saber FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Oxel should have stopped the shot. Patagonia's Viktor Kalkanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Tello in the 69th minute of play. Patagonia's Viktor Kalkanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Patagonia from getting a goal against them.
